In its efforts to keep up with modern travel trends, Thompsons Africa’s Client Service Division has expanded its offerings to its international guests and now plays an important role in assisting travellers in various situations from directions to foreign exchange or cellular rental outlets, tracing and returning lost luggage, documents and other items, and minor to serious emergency situations.
It has a team of 20 permanent Client Service Officers located in all major centres in Southern Africa. They are easily recognisable, carry branded sign boards, and are available 24 hours a day – even visiting clients in hospital should they fall ill on their journey. Offering comfort and support to travelling companions of indisposed, sick or injured passengers is also on the list.
We offer the following premium brand Meet & Greet Services:

With our Silver Meet & Greet Service, our Client Service Officers hand over documentation, provide assistance when required, and in most instances escort passengers to their hired cars or waiting transfer.

For the more sophisticated traveller, who appreciates that extra care and attention, we provide two further premium brand Meet & Greet options, which offer a more personalised and attentive welcome.

Both the Gold and Platinum Meet & Greet Services are conducted on a private basis. Your clients will be met personally, assisted with their luggage, escorted to a restaurant or coffee shop and handed their documentation, while enjoying a complimentary juice or hot beverage. If necessary, your clients will then be escorted and assisted with banking, foreign exchange, cellular rental and any other retail services within the terminal building and finally, escorted to their onward transportation. Your clients will feel pampered and assured that they are clear with all their itinerary arrangements, completely at ease that all their questions or misgivings are laid to rest.

The Platinum VVIP Meet & Greet Service ensures that your clients will be met on arrival at the aircraft by our airport ‘security-approved’ sub-contractors and attended to from the moment they touch South African soil – what a fabulous way to begin a journey of a lifetime!

The Silver, Gold VIP and Platinum VVIP Meet & Greet options are available at all airports in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
